With her debut in 1984 in Raj shree
Production’s Abodh, Madhuri has been a winner all through. She achieved
stardom with Tezaab in 1988 and proceeded to give various hits like Ram
Lakhan, Parinda, Tridev, Hum Apke Hain Kaun and more recently Devdas.
Thus, she has six Filmfare awards, a record of highest number of Best
Actress nominations and the prestigious Padam Shri under her kitty!
Her marriage to Dr. Shri Ram Nene based
in the United States broke many hearts of her fans. Madhuri devoted
herself to motherhood, wife’s duties and looking after the household
chores for 10 years and returned to Bollywood with the movie AajaNachle
in 2006. Although the movie bombed at the box office, Madhuri’s acting
was well appreciated. In 2011, she appeared as a judge on a dance
reality show called JhalakDhikLaja. Madhuri was well taken for her
poise, ethnic dressing sense and extraordinary grace with which she
carried herself
